ORIGINAL WATERCOLORS

Learning watercolors in my 40's after painting in oils for more than 30 years has been challenging to say the least! And I still have a lot to learn. But I'm enjoying the process and the challenge. I tend to lean into "more is more" in my oil paintings. But the older I get the more I feel pulled in the opposite direction of "less is more". 

I'm also drawn to watercolors lately because of the simplicity of the supplies. All I want to do every day is wander around in nature. To walk, look, draw, and play with paint on paper. Watercolors require forethought, and restraint but also letting go. Working with watercolors in nature feels...natural. And good. Even when they turn out not quite how I want. It's so much more about the process than the results.

Here you will find two kinds of watercolors:

Original Watercolorspaintings are 11x14 inches, painted with my favorite Italian watercolors, A. Gallo and MaimeriBlu on Fabriano Classico 100% cotton archival paper. 

In Watercolors With Words I decided to add some writing to each watercolor. I added the writing through digital text, so these are 11x14 inch prints on high quality cotton archival paper. 

Price includes shipping for all watercolors. All original art includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity by me, the artist.
